- Aug. '09: SFVS hosts 2-night program and welcomes 59 veterinarians to the latest event in our Continuing Education series for Veterinarians. The 2-hour program was entitled "Common Dilemmas in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Canine Cushing's Disease", sponsored by Idexx Laboratories.

- Jan. '09: For the 2nd consecutive printing, SFVS makes Atlanta Magazine's list of Best Veterinary Specialists. Appearing in their February, 2009 issue, the "best of" list is based on the magazine's online reader survey.
- Oct. '08: Dr. Tasha Axam, DVM, DACVR joins SFVS, offers diagnostic imaging services. Please welcome the newest member of our staff, Dr. Tasha Axam, DVM, Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Dr. Axam is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University. She is a graduate of the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her internship at the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine. - May '08: SFVS now offers on-site after hours care. Clients will enjoy the peace of mind and convenience of overnight, on-site non-emergent post-surgical recovery and observation nursing care for referral patients.

April 2007: Sound Technology, Inc.
SFVS acquires Sound Technologies "Tru-DR Dicom" Digital Radiography Imaging System. -
May 2007: Dr. Clarence Rawlings DVM PhD DAVCS Consults on Hospital Design. Dr. Rawlings is a nationally recognized veterinary surgeon and researcher, and a 30-year veteran Professor in the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine.
